30.3.71 and 30.3.91 ..

I've never noticed that before. What a coincidence/ quirk of fate. Gerry 's first and last gigs with Rory, on the same date 20 years apart to the day.

Actually it was quite a time consuming, tedious job to pull all of the dates from the Excel file, so I pulling info only from the lines that contained the dates.

here is the complete information on the date
Wilgar Campbell (dr.)
Gerry McAvoy (b.)
Organiser., logistic, Tourman.
and driver: Donal Gallagher
Agent: David Oddie
Equipm.-technician, roadie
and bodyguard:
Tom O`Driscoll (`71-`94)

and i think it's great that video bootleg from paris '71 preformance (which was the first rory's show after taste split with a new band if i got it right) is so common among rory fans/collectors. i know milka watched it quite recently :D

I was outside looking in at the Marquee in NYC. One of my lifes greatest regrets not picking up tickets that Saturday afternoon.
It was crazy outside, people everywhere with no tickets but the hunger to see the Stratocaster Master.
Sigh...................................................................................................................... 8^ (
