I like Bach Flower Remedies too, Suby, especially Rescue Remedy. Thanks for this post, it's very interesting and a great idea. I'm not sure they'd let us rename the shamrock, but it might actually work for another plant. What about a flower native to Ballyshannon or Cork areas? That would be very cool.[/quote Hope everyone is well from the flu especially Anna Maria and Madrid 74. I did go back to work this week and my cough is almost gone. My colleagues joked about whether I had Ebola. Well Ebola is not a joke but the media loves scaring the public. My doctor assured me it is very difficult to catch. That's why I don't really watch the news. Anyway I agree that a wild native Irish flower with a blue tinge or all blue would do. I agree with Cynthia I don't think a manufactured flower is appropriate. Annie Elliot I love Bach remedies and I keep Bach Rescue remedy in my handbag. My job is highly stressful and I work with the public. I am prone to panic attacks and travelling on the London Underground is also stressful too in rush hour. I have to move outside London someday and become self employed which I am working towards. Bach Remedy can help reduce stress with a few drops. I wanted to learn about Bach remedies and there was a course going on in Bath. Bath is beautiful with its Roman Baths. I first saw the baths in 1992 when I was 18. I just sat there transfixed and been a few times since. Its very healing to sit by the waters. Takes you back in time.... Anyway the course was cancelled but I will look out for another course soon. In the Dan Muise book its says Rory kept a box with herbal remedies. When band members got hurt, like cut themselves by accident he would get the box out and patch the band members up. Rory must have learnt about these remedies from his family like I did from grandmother. People used natural remedies long before modern medicines. I like the fact we can use them along side convention medicine. My family have used homeopathy for years. Subrata.x
