What's a TOY?

Donal holds a toy in a hands. What it can be?
A car? A shoes ? A doll?

It looks me as what we call "tentetieso" I believe that in english it's named tumbler doll, a type of toy that babies can push and it rolls back to the same position.

Hmmm, looks like a glass bottle of some sort, but a glass bottle isn't a very safe toy for a baby. It's probably some sort of shiny rattle thing, the sort of thing photographers give to young children with very short attention spans to keep them busy and occupied 'till he can take the shot. Donal does look a little puzzled there.

In Rory you can see a hint of the man to be, his eyes and his smile are the same.

It's hard to see but looks like Donal might be holding the toy upside down. The upper part of it looks flat and has a hole in it, maybe that was secured to a base so the baby could push it around and it wouldn't fall over? Is that what Madrid74 was saying? Funny how their personalities are already so different.
