Thrillers, Intrigues, and Rory

Do you read me, well won't you tell me? If you read me, then please believe me, when I say

Thrillers, Intrigues, and Rory

Postby 40yrfan » 06 Jun 2012, 14:03

I've been a fan of Rory's for 40 years, ever since I heard him play blistering slide on Jerry Lee Lewis' London Sessions album. So when I wrote my new novel I decided to pay homage to my hero.

It's pure cloak and dagger, just the kind of book that Rory liked to read. Philby would be right at home. I saw it as an opportunity to educate the thriller-reading public to Rory's virtuosity and primacy as the greatest. I don't want to seem Machiavellian but unless I reveal the title, you'll never be able to find it. It's called, "The Machiavelli Letter". If you search the usual eReader sites, you'll find it.

If you doubt my aim is true, then consider this. My only daughter named my only grandson -- Rory!

'Nuff said.

If you like it, please let me know (and everyone else). Like Rory, I'm going my own way and not letting the publishers tell me how to ply my art.

I'm so pleased this site is back, strong and classy. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this request.

Rory On!

welcome to the forum
I watched as fear took the old men's gaze
Hopes of the young in troubled graves
'I see no day' I heard him say
So grey is the face of every mortal
