Always liked Persuasion from Deuce.

I'm brand new here and yesterday bought the 2012 remasters to replace my 1999 CDs; they were cheap in HMV's sale, I like the card sleeves & extra liner notes, plus they've sorted out the track order on a couple of the later ones.

Can anyone confirm if I'm right in thinking that the bonus tracks from the 1999 Deuce & Calling Card CDs (which have been omitted from the 2012 remasters) are the same takes which appear as the opening 3 tracks of Postcards From San Francisco? Thanks!

which tracks are on '99 remasters that are not on 2012 remasters and vice versa?

Hopes of the young in troubled graves
'I see no day' I heard him say
So grey is the face of every mortal

Hi Innuendo,

Deuce & Calling Card are the only 2012 CDs which drop bonus tracks from 1999 (Persuasion and Rue The Day & Public Enemy (B-Girl version) respectively, all of which SEEM to appear on Postcards from San Francisco). It would be really helpful if someone (perhaps Donal or Daniel?) could confirm if it IS exactly the same three takes which lead off PFSF...

The 2012 issue of Calling Card is the only remaster to add a bonus track (Where Was I Going To?) which did not appear in 1999.

All the other 2012 issues have the same track listings as the 1999 ones, although Jinx has reshuffled the running order in line with the original LP sequence, with the bonus tracks now appearing more appropriately at the end.

Hope this helps!
