Congratulations on retirement Tim. Think of all that extra Rory time you'll have. And bigger congrats on the forthcoming wedding!
Any Rory tracks lined up for the reception? Too Much Alcohol might be appropriate!

congratulations on your retirement and wedding and happy birthday in advance tim. i just have to say last night (actually today cos i was working night shift and was sleeping during the day) i was dreaming about rory, i think that was my first dream with rory in it. i can't remember much, i think i met him and i was trying to find my top priority vinyl (which i don't own in real life) to get him to sign it but i couldn't find it as far as i can remember. strange dream but i was very excited to meet rory in my dreams

Hi Inuendo, or Is it .. I'm Not Awake Yet?

Did you have another nice dream about Rory this morning?
You know with all the time I spent listening to Rory (seeing Rory 20 times live) in my 38 years as a fan, I've never been as lucky as you to dream of him. Now that would be the ultimate dream for me ..
Rory playing in a concert / gig with me backing him on the drums ..
SWEET DREAMS :)

JJJ that's a potential discussion topic right there--though some might think it borders on obsessive-sounding--but I remember Donal mentioning in an interview that Rory actively visited him in his dreams after he passed. Back in the late 90's I was going through a pretty nasty misadventure with cancer and I had a dream in which I met RG on a sidewalk in NYC and we went to a pub and had a beer. I don't remember what we talked about, if anything; in fact he seemed to be a warm and friendly but not very talkative presence. So it gets me to thinking--maybe there are others who have been "visited" by Rory since his passing. If there could be an afterlife, then it stands to reason he might be just as engaged with his fans (both departed and not) and his music as he was while here in the flesh. "The truth is out there"

Regards,
Richard
