According to the Rory Gallagher Facebook page, which just published another photo with Rory and other people from this gig in Toronto, Rory opened for Henry Gross(?), Edgar Winter, and Aerosmith. A Facebook commentator who was there said Rory blew all the others off the stage. No surprise there. :D

AnnaMaria, are you saying...could Wilgar be....THE TATTOO'D LADY?! My world just exploded!

Cynthia, is the July 24, 1976 show a new one for This Day in Rory History?
Here's an Aerosmith ticket on sale on eBay:

Capo, no doubt Rory blew them all away. Apparently Derringer was on fire as well, here's a post:

I love it when these old photos and videos surface.

Just checked the timeline, and that gig is noted under July 24 (I haven't gotten there yet 8-) I am literally taking it one day at a time) I'm new to this, so I bring forward the old posts and vids when I come across them, if I can find a reasonable basis for the dates to be accurate. Or if a member of the forum has a recollection on a given day (don't forget, Photofinish, we want your recollections  )

Some material gets lost to time and faulty memory, and the occasional cyber- hiccup. But keep adding to it when you can people... :D
