I'm not saying they shared the stage at the same time together. Yet Rory & Eric were on the same tour with their bands, in passed rock history.

Hello you all,

In November 1968, the band Taste , along with Yes, opened for Cream at Cream's farewell concerts. Taste began touring the United States and Canada with the British supergroup Blind Faith.

All good answers. If the question is a proper "Tour", then of course the North American six week summer tour in '69 opening for Blind Faith, Bonnie and Delaney and Friends would be the one. But if it was first sharing the bill, then that goes back to '67 or '68 when Taste opened for Cream in Northern Ireland at some gigs. Either way, I don't want no cup. Just wanted to air my vast Rory knowledge.

I would think the first tour would be the Farewell Tour, but didn't they appear on the same bill together before that? When and what venue did Taste and Cream first share the same bill?

According to Gerry McAvoy, in "Riding Shotgun", he saw Taste open for Cream in Belfast, Northern Ireland at the Maritime sometime in 1967. See page 32.

Hi Cynthia and all.. It does not matter first or last time.. As long as RG & EC are on tour together with their various bands.
The thing is if you would like to have a chance of winning this Rory cup / mug and be put in the hat..
