There is 4 or 5 pubs in my hometown (Aalborg,Denmark) which is quite a few here in DK. But anyway, one of my favourites are the "The Irish House". They haven't got a jukebox though, but there's livemusic every thursday, friday and saturday night. My friends and I always end up there singing along and having a good time.
Last weekend an Irish guy called Pat Kelly was playing there and I went up to him and said; "Your're Irish right? Then you must know Rory Gallagher? "Oh yes, he curtainly did", but unfurtunately he didn't have any of songs in his set, but "I had an excellent taste in music" he said. And as nobody normally knows who he is here in Denmark I was happy just to meet someone who did. So in my drunken state I happily went back to seat at the bar and finished my Murphy's stout and my Paddy's whiskey(An Irish Set or a set from Cork as I use to say) and sent him a few thoughts.
It's such a shame that nobody here in DK have heard of him! They don't know what they're missing! Normally I'm met with the reply "Rory who?" when I mention him. But at least my dad and my guitar teacher know who he is. Sometimes I almost feel proud to be a fan of his and to have discovered his music.

A story from a danish fan and a pub with no jukebox, but lots of atmosphere ;)

Btw, Does anyone know if the artists get royalties for all these songs / tracks on Jukebox's
Or in Rory's case the Gallagher family?
