RORY & OTHER MUSICIANS ~ Proposed Collaboration Album

Postby Jay Jay » 10 Feb 2012, 13:13

Rory Fans!

Help me here to put a proposal of songs / tracks to Donal & Daniel Gallagher. For a Rory Gallagher & Guests 1 or 2 CD maybe release in the future?
Here are 4 songs from me which Rory collaborated on other musicians albums or other recordings to go on this album maybe ..

1. This is the Woman ~ with Phil Lynott Live @ Punchestown 1982
2. Will Ye Go Lassie Go ~ Phil Coulter Words and Music 1989
3. Sense of Freedom ~ with Frankie Miller in the TV Film 1979
4. Remember My Name ~ Energy Orchard ~ Pain Killer 1995

Give us no more than 4 SONGS/TRACKS for 1 MEMBER PLEASE ..
Some more of the many great tunes Rory collaborated with other musicians below please :)

Why don't you just start a seperate topic for that.. Did we not have that also with the last official Rory Gallagher release with NFSF a bonus live CD??

All I'm asking here is for something different ..
Songs from other artists albums that Rory played on rather than buy ALL the albums for ££££$$$$ with one or two songs on like I did 8-)
Make sense to me All on one album remixed and remastered :)

No other Rory fans seems keen on this proposal?
Even with two of the tunes above never before on disc?
What about it then as a bonus CD with next Rory Gallagher released Live album maybe??

that would be a good idea, but i wouldn't want them to be remixed, just remastered to get the best audio quality with original mixes as they intended them to be. and i don't believe all rory's collaborations would fit on only 1 cd and i'm talking only about studio stuff here
