New short film to be released later this month or next month called EVERGONE. It is by Brian Kaufman. Brian is a guy I know from my little town here in Central Pennsylvania. He is an associate producer for The Simpsons T.V. show:

This is his 3rd short film. The first was called the Bigfoot Project and the second one was called Just Add Alcohol:

All three of these films are great redneck, backwoods humor. Evergone was done 95% in my town and surrounding area with local people. Just Add Alcohol was done around here too and also with mostly locals. Also in all three of these films is a friend of mine who used to paint houses for me...Justin Brocious(long hair and headband). These guys crack me up and are going places with their craft. Look for EVERGONE to be released shortly.Meanwhile:

Anybody fans of Little Feat ?

Well Richie Hayward has been battling Liver Cancer for quite a while now and needs some support:

http://www.littlefeat.net/index.php?page=news&n_id=599

There have been raffles, auctions, donation sites set up and more, as Richie has no insurance:

http://www.littlefeat.net/index.php?page=news&n_id=615

Many of us check in on Richie, on a daily basis and offer support through posts on a carepages website. It can be accessed through this link. Then all one needs to do is sign up. He is lucky enough to have a great wife and a true love between them, and a wonderful group of kids supporting him also. He hopes to get healthy enough to have a transplant and get back behind his kit, or at least to enjoy his family for some more years.

So if Little Feat, or especially Richie Hayward, have made a difference in your life, give them some support.

Feats Don`t Fail Me Now

Have a good week everone, R.K.

Hi everyone - it's great to be back. I was in Limerick for the weekend and on Friday night the hotel pianist played a ragtime mix which he then said was based on Rory Gallagher's 'Barley and Grape Rag'. A few fellahs asked him why he didn't play ragtime by someone or other and he said "because Rory Gallagher is better - Rory Gallagher is the best". Of course, I made it my business to talk to him later and it turns out he's studying music in Limerick and is doing his thesis on Rory. Then on Saturday afternoon a busker on a busy Limerick street was playing Loanshark Blues. It's a great city! Regards to all. Noelle.

Hi Noelle, a very warm welcome to the new Rory forum :)
Long time no see, probably it was at the Rory fest last year. Hasn't a year flown. Are you going to the Rory fest this year?

My Grandfather was born in Limerick :D
This guy playing in this hotel, is name wasn't Danny was it?

All the best, JJ

Yeah, JJ, certainly hope to make Ballyshannon again this year. Got a bit into the mood tonight with Double Vision in Dublin. Barry and the lads were in great form and rocked JJ's.

The piano player in Limerick was called Matt. He hasn't been to Ballyshannon yet but might make it this year. I'm sure he'd get a lot of contributions to his thesis on Rory there!

All the best. Noelle.

Got to see, hear, talk with and get autographs from another one of my favorite guitarists.....Luther Dickinson.
Went 130 miles to the city and then returned with another bunch of autographed vinyl.

If Jimmy Goehring(vox040) is looking in, or anyone is in contact with him. Have him give me a hollar. I got a picture of him and Jimbo Mathis autographed for him last night, but no longer have contact information on him. Jimbo remembered getting Jimmy backstage to watch Buddy Guy and have Buddy autograph a pickguard for him.

Me and Luther last night:
