Hi Mac, hopefully we'll get to meet you another time.

That's a good spot on the strat! The mexican classic players are some of the best guitars for the money that I can think of right now, especially second-hand..

I agree that they can feel a bit different to play and I think this is mostly due to the gibson style 12" fretboard radius they have that isn't usually seen on Fenders. This very flat fretboard does mean though that bends rarely choke out, which is handy..I use 10s and a medium high action on mine and did a couple modifications, disconnected the middle tone and added a steel tremblock.. I think it's a great guitar. Don't let yours go anywhere!

Nice one Mac, it'll be good to meet you... We'll be starting around ten I think and we're doing an hour set. There'll be two bands on before us so it won't be earlier than that I'd imagine. looking forward to it!

Delighted for Duece, you deserve it .
Was in at the gig last night , had to leave in the middle of bullfrog blues .... car park closed at 12. I brought two mates in with me, that like Rory but aren't fans as such . They had a great night and loved the music. As for me I thought the set was fantastic.... lot from the early days and really varied. Your slide playing is really good, but what had a smile onmy face most of the night was your voice, its just so close to Rory's, its uncanny.
JJ was saying you need to tighten up as a band, well last night, the two lads were great and this was remarked on by my mates ( one of whom plays a bit of bass ) .
Sorry we did'nt get to say hello, maybe next time.

Hi Mac, thanks a million I'm delighted you enjoyed it, were you the guys rocking down at the front? great stuff!
I'll definitely get to meet you next time, we'll have over two hours of songs for the festival including a full acoustic set in true Rory tradition.

Slide is one of my great passions and I'm glad you like the vocals, I've worked really hard on the singing. The rhythm section are amazing and make life easy, we're a team and hope to get tighter the more we play (and we hope to play alot..ha)

Thanks again for coming in!
