I`ve got between 75 and 100 78s.
That stuff is in storage in my attic with my victrola record player and my philco radios.
No room in my sterio room for any of my antique music stuff.
I only have room in my sterio room for about 2000 to 2500 of my 12" (331/3) vinyls.....the rest are also in the attic......

Same place has plastic sleeves(inner and outer):

Yeah Jim,

The old Rory site......The Meeting Place had a photo gallery where we could put up a picture of ourselves.........

Wifey and I are spending our holiday weekend processing vegetables for winter.
Last night it was corn............
Today it`s green beans...........
Tomorrow it`s tomatoes.........
AND Monday it`s beets............

Told Jacki.......If you want me to help, you gotta let me spin vinyl !!!!
As I`ve said before.........music ain`t a 24/7 thing for her like it is for me........

So last night it was:
Black Sabbath/Paranoid/1971/Vinyl
Elvin Bishop/Juke Joint Jump/1975/Vinyl
Humble Pie/Rock On/1971/Vinyl
Mountain/Twin Peaks/1974/2 Vinyls
Sure hope that Leslie makes a quick recovery and can go back to playin` LIVE !!!!!!!

Starting off today.......more in the present:
the Black Crowes/Croweology/2010/3 Vinyls

time to start snappin` some beans...............while Jacki makes the yard sale routes........

Hi Jukka......I hope that your world is getting some order restored to it.
Still thinking of you and sending you posative vibrations.

We got all our green beans done yesterday. Now I just have to clean jars, take rings off, put an"11" on each lid and then put on shelves in basement. Today is tomatoes. That`s Jacki`s toil. I just clean and carry jars and rings and lids in this operation.........

Finished off yesterday`s listening with:

Joe Bonamassa/Live From Nowhere In Particular/2008/3 Vinyls/Autographed
John Prine/Fair & Square/2007/2 Vinyls
TWO OF MY FAVORITES from this album are..........

Some Human`s Ain`t Human: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rwYiBdoWHE

Gregg Allman/Low Country Blues/2011/2 Vinyls

Hello Rosemarie,

Nice to see you on here. Thanks for the birthday e-mail......sorry for my slow reply.........

Still waiting to find out how IRENE affected us. Jacki and I were to be heading to the eastern coast of Maryland and Deleware next week for our 25th anniversary......after stopping to see Joan Jett and the Blackhearts along the way. Still don`t know the complete condition of the area we are headed to. My bussiness partner`s daughter just headed to the same place two days ago. Been waiting to hear from them, but nobody has.......so we`re guessing that AT LEAST the phone towers are down. They will be home friday, and we don`t leave until Monday. So we may not know until they get back. We are 7 hours away from the beach but still had lots of wind and rain from IRENE. BUT THEN we`ve got yet another hurricane headed up the eastern seaboard(at least looks like it.......to be there just before or at the same time we are to head out !!!!!! I did have my ladders bouncing off the wall when that earthquake hit a couple weeks ago. That was a strange sensation !!

Can`t Win Sometimes........................

If we can`t go to the beach, after our show, we`ll head another direction for a few days. I never make reservations. I`m a take it as it comes traveler when I can.

Today I`ve been listening to Mississippi hill country music:
R.L. Burnside/Come On In/1998/Vinyl/Autographed
Let My Baby Ride: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CSXEkcrMrU
It`s Bad You Know: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzC_rGX-XyM
Luther Dickinson & The Sons Of Mudboy/Onward And Upward/2009/Vinyl/Autographed
Let It Roll: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIC-O7CGWlg
North Mississippi Allstars/Keys To The Kingdom/2011/Vinyl
New Orleans Walkin` Dead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7jCCHguDX4
Jumpercable Blues: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oyaPPNX ... re=related
I got a free NMA/MULE DVD from Rory, who is the moderator of the NMA forum, for posting the lyrics to these two songs

gotta clean some more canning jars..........

Well Rosemarie........I got my answer last night.......

The people who went where we are going called home yesterday and said everything is alright at the beach !!!! They were just not responding to phone calls for a couple days. Can`t Blame Them for that !!!!!

TODAY though it`s pouring out, as the remnants of the last hurricane work it`s way up the eastern states.
Still got another one to look out for in the next week.........

Just got a Garmin GPS unit in the mail yesterday, that I`m learnin` how to use.............
I just keep getting dragged into the future(present) whether I`m willin` or not !!!!!

Today I`ve started off with two of my standards......Warren and Rory:

Taste featuring Rory Gallagher/In Concert/Oct.25,1968/Vinyl
Here`s the whole thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSV9TziR ... 17275D221E
Gov`t Mule/By A Thread/2009/2 Vinyls
