Sorry Richard........I~LL CRANK IT UP MORE !

My wife, who promised that she would be gone for a long time, came back home and turned it down while I was in the shower. She`s NOW headed for her mother`s house. They never get too old to continue that threat ! Music doesn`t pump her blood, like it does mine ! Well..........there she goes.......SOOOOO........Here I Go:

The Runaways/no title/1976
You Drive Me Wild is on here, and was Joan`s first recording of a song she wrote by herself.
She was 16 years old when they recorded this:

She had her signature sound right out the gate, so she did.........and still does

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts/Glorious Results Of A Misspent Youth/1984
Long Time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvWMHBsAeTE
and my favorite song from this album.
Push and Stomp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wG2BN6vjnyc

The Runaways/and now...The Runaways/1979
Black Leather: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1C0qdnHiyY
and this next one is written by Lita Ford.
I like this better than any she did later during her solo career, my favorite of this LP
Little Lost Girls: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_A_8FmexOPY

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts/I Love Rock`N`Roll/1981
I Love Rock`N`Roll: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3T_xeoGES8
This is the ultimate Joan Jett, the song, the woman........this video sums her up......on and off stage.

The Runaways/Queens Of noise/1977

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals/no title/2011/vinyl 12"

AND

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals/Fooling Myself and White Rabbit/2011/Vinyl 7"

Both came together in the 12"album.

The vinyl has 12 of the 13 songs on the CD(which I also have) and the 7" has two songs that ARE NOT on the CD.

Today I've started with:

Some classic music. I have a lot about 150+... when I started it play I heard a lot of loud clicks... I stop it. My Sumiko Pearl head is my lovely one.

Rick, have you clean mashine?

My FAVORITE song from the new Steve Earle vinyl is.........
Meet Me In The Alleyway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLFhVe3wfHQ
Has that T Bone Guitar sound and "highway cop" scratchy microphone...........LOVE IT !!!!!

Jim,

NO.....I don`t have a vinyl cleaning machine. Like everything else I do in life, I clean the old fashioned way>>>>>> I`ve got a stylus brush for the needle. I got a static gun to shoot the vinyl with when everything wants to cling to it. I`ve got a PARASTAT vinyl cleaning brush/pad to clean the vinyl records with.......and cleaning fluid to add when a dry cleaning isn`t enough. I also buy dry lintfree cleaning cloths and throw away when they get dirty. I primarily use these on already clean vinyls. If I buy used vinyl, and it`s filthy, I use the soap and water to start and then progress to that which I`ve already mentioned. I keep all my vinyl discs in plastic sleeves and the album jackets in plastic sleeves also.

Here`s a place I buy vinyl cleaning products and plastic sleeves from:
http://www.bagsunlimited.com/c-295-cleaners.aspx

I just recently bought a new stylus.......Got to do that often enough so as not to damage vinyl with old worn out ones.

Thanks Rick for external explonation!
I want to wash vinyl in the same way you're talking. But the real problem is STATIC! Static on LP, static inside my reels of tape... what is 'Static Gun'?

scroll down to where it says ZEROSTAT GUN

You`ll see other cleaning products here too. I`ve had the same stylus brush for like 30 years.
