To my mind along with Rory the best musicians to come out of Ireland. Phil Lynott was one of the most charismatic front men of all time. Lizzy gave us some great songs such as Jailbreak, Cowboy Song, Black Rose, Not to mention one of my favourite ever live albums Live and Dangerous

I'm not what you would call a real fan but I I enjoy listenening to them from time to time. Jailbreak ranks among the great albums of seventies rock - a perennial hard rock classic - and Live and Dangerous is probably the second best live record (after UFO's phenomenal Strangers in the Night) of that period, with what I would consider definitive versions of fan favorites like Jailbreak, Emerald, Don't Believe a Word, Massacre, Dancing In The Moonlight, etc.
