Hi Jay Jay. It was good documentary and shed light on some new things. For example I had no idea that Freddie thought his Barcelona project with Caballe could be his last project he ever did and that he wanted to be as perfect as possible. Also its interesting that while recording with Mikey there was llama in the studio? LOL! I will discuss the documentary at a later date but it was interesting to learn more about Freddie's solo career. I still love the song A Winters Tale and the words to it. Beautiful! Subrata. x

i bought it on blue ray and watched it. i love the documentary but i was hoping for more unseen footage and more unreleased audio stuff (for example those few seconds of his duet with rod stewart sound interesting but it's too short). i have a feeling that documentary was put together in a kind of hurry and it's not as good as last year's award winning days of our lives documentary about queen which was done by same people. and there are only about 20 mins of special features on a blue ray while days of our lives has tons of great bonus footage. but seeing freddie is always great, such a great guy and musician and what a funny man he was! wish i could see that whole 1985 interview, it's priceless! i give documentary 4 out of 5 and i give 2 out of 5 to bonus material on blue ray. here are 2 unused video interview from documentary and this is even not on bonus footage on blue ray.

I watched as fear took the old men's gaze
Hopes of the young in troubled graves
'I see no day' I heard him say
So grey is the face of every mortal

It was a good documentary. I loved the fact it was so positive and I had no idea that Freddie wanted his Barcelona Project with Cabelle to be such a success as it may have been his last. There were funny moments in the documentary. Will talk about it more another time as I am a bit busy at the moment. Subrata. x
