I watched as fear took the old men's gaze
Hopes of the young in troubled graves
'I see no day' I heard him say
So grey is the face of every mortal

I had a Vox AC50 head going through a WEM 4x12 about 30 years ago. The WEM was owned by Mick Ralphs (its great living in the midlands), but got nicked from a rehearsal room. The AC50 was destroyed by a spilt pint during a gig. It was a great clanging sound - like the sound Edge gets during that quieter bit midway into 'in the name of love'. I missed the program, but I'm hoping to see a repeat.
TT
what do you think of that?

my favorite part is a smile of that guy when he watches brian at 1:50 (second video), basically he smiles all the time but that smile is just priceless and when he said at 2:00 that it made him so happy i just started to laugh, i mean the guy is obviously a professional (or he wouldn't be in this documentary) but he just smiles and acts like a little boy. well a guitar god can do that to you :D

Kicking myself after selling a 1964 ac30 20 years ago . I'd not been playing that long and bought it from a rehearsal/recording studio i worked at for the princley sum of 130 quid. Definately had a very warm and smooth as silk overdrive , tho i didn't appreciate it back then and went for much more gainy amps that hid my beginner technique better......trouble was that the Rory driven tone only appeared at near full volume....great for gigs but not much use around the house. Though if i new what i know now i'd have kept it regardless.

Great videos above , very interesting.
