I'm responding to dialogue before anyone opens their mouths..
We lost John Lennon this date and I'm showing my respect to his memory by playing this movie and remembering
when I saw them a long time ago..in Cleveland Ohio..I also recall arriving in Cleveland on Ringo Starrs Birthday.
T hanks for the memories John Lennon.

rip john, i miss you. 10 years (and less) ago he was my favorite musician, my favorite human on the planet (out of all the celebrities i mean). i used to light a candle on this date but i don't do that anymore. although macca is now my favorite beatle (i like his solo stuff more than john's) john will always be great for me. you saw the beatles? wow, amazing!
I watched as fear took the old men's gaze
Hopes of the young in troubled graves
'I see no day' I heard him say
So grey is the face of every mortal

R.I.P. John Lennon. By far the greatest Beatle. A magnificient solo artist too, who penned some unforgetable songs (Imagine, Give Peace a Chance, Mother, Working Class Hero etc.).
"From the fool's gold mouthpiece the hollow horn plays wasted words, proves to warn that he not busy being born is busy dying." (B. Dylan)

John Lennons passing is just as raw as the day it happened..just as how I feel about Rory..but this is about John Lennon
today. I love the songs John wrote himself.."Number 9 Dream" "Instant Karma".. I pray his spirit's at peace in heaven. I hope some of you will post some of his best songs here.

This moring while still dreaming..I was hearing "#9 Dream..you were singing and I was walking arround in my "Rory
Gallagher Ballyshannon tee shirt on..I was trying to take it off to do laundry..but it clung to my skin..so I kept it on.

I remember the night he was murdered. I cried all night, and every time I heard "beautiful Boy" cause I thought of his sons growing up without him. But i believe he is at peace- he had a rocky life but he was basically a good man. Yeah, he's in a good place.

Happy Christmas

Beautiful Boy

Rest in peace John- We'll always remember you!

Roberta

Thanks for adding this video. I love Neil Young and he nailed this to the wall.. note for note. He almost sounded
like "John Lennon" in some parts. (my face book page today.. all john Lennon) .. I'm sure "Rory wont mind sharing.
:)
I never saw this particular one. I did see on YouTube Stevie Wonder just before a concert announcing the death
of John Lennon and he was all choked up with emotion.
Not a happy day for me.. the pain comes back fresh as if it happened yesterday.
