Five Favourite Musicians

Just for fun, who are your five favourite musicians of all time? Individual musicians, not a musical group.

Mine:

1. Rory Gallagher
2. Peter Green
3. Nick Drake
4. Neil Young
5. Joni Mitchell

4 and 5, I'm being a good Canadian, :) I guess I'm a bit of a folkie, too.

My list may fluctuate a bit from year to year but I'm pretty sure Rory will always be at no. 1.

DAMN TIM..............I see we`ve got 4 of 5 the same !!!!!
A few years ago mine might have all been the same as you put down..............
But then you probably wouldn`t have had Warren on your list..............
I hope you and the new Mrs. are enjoying life !!!

ANYHOW........Here`s mine......in the order in which I was introduced to them:

Steve Marriott
Gregg Allman
Rory Gallagher
Warren Haynes
Luther Dickinson

In the past year, I`ve seen Gregg twice and Warren once.
A week from tomorrow I see Luther with North Mississippi Allstars again.
I see Warren twice again on New Year`s eve and the eve of that.....and with pre-party, sound check, and meet and greet with photograph together, open bar, gift bag, download card for both shows, poster, t-shirt, and so on and so on................

I'm delighted no one has put Eric Clapton.
