Hi Rick,

Grace, that Honky Tonk Woman...I remember you wrote somewhere that she's too shy to come to see her fans...it's
hard to believe when you look at her stage act!

One question Rick,
how do Afro-Americans relate to Gov't Mule...do they go to their concerts? After all, the name of the band comes
from history, that I referred to in my first post (and they play blues, allright):

some history; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/40_acres_and_a_mule

YEAH Richard .......2 songs.......30 minutes......great comradery between musicians also !

Here is the woogie board site Jukka:
http://woogieboard.com/
Cody has made the electric washboard so sought after that they started mass producing them. For years, everywhere NMA played, people would make and give Cody electric washboards and Luther cigarbox guitars. Luther had been playing a "can guitar" all over Europe while touring the past couple months.......like a can of corn or beans or what have you........
Gigarbox guitars:

Luther playin` one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WymxCA8HmJ8

No Jukka.....not many blacks attend MULE shows, except the musicians...............but Warren is from the south and is the type of fella that has NO prejudices whatsoever. He has been out on the road with his own band, The Warren Haynes Band, where he has been basically the only white boy on the stage. Warren would have seen alot of racial injustices where he was raised as a child. He HONORS musicians of all races.

Later, Rick

P.S>>>>>>>Since I`ve joined the Gov`t Mule talk forums........I`ve found that a HUGE amout of MULE fans are also Rory Gallagher Fans. Alot would like to see Warren cover some of Rory`s music......and are asking for it on the upcoming New Years 2 night run. HOPE WE GET SOME !!!

He could turn Walk on Hot Coals into an extended masterpiece... kind of like Rory did! Would love to hear WH doing RG!
