Noway Prince is dead?? I am totally shock. What is happening in 2016?? Why are all the people I grew up with passing away. They are way too young. He was way too young. I saw Prince in concert at the O2 arena on the 16/10/2007. He was on fine form and it was such amazing show. My cousin had a free ticket and he is massive Prince fan since the 80s. He was a brilliant songwriter and musician. He played like 17 musical instruments. He was a multi talented artist. Such an icon. I am glad I saw him because he was a great performer. I wanted to see him in 2014 when he was touring the north of UK. RIP Prince. OMG. Nothing Compares To U. My condolences to his family and friends. A very sad day. Subrata.:0(

R.I.P. When did this happen? I'm quite shocked as well. How old was he? Only today I was listening to this on youtube and thinking what a great performance it was

I didn't connect it all to Prince having died. Please listen, it's excellent and very fitting.

He was only 57!

Prince wrote this song for Sinead O'Connor in 1990. It was a great hit. A song I have loved since 1990. I am just devastated. Subrata.x

Our last memory of Prince, for my cousin and I, will be of him coming on stage at the O2 for half an hour extra, where he played keyboards to his fans. I think he wore a beret or something. After that we left on a high. Thankyou for music Prince, which we will have forever. RIP. Subrata.x

When I first saw this on the internet .. I went.
"OH GOD NO!"
I felt as if a Sledge Hammer had hit me in the gut. This year has been a horror of rockers passing away and
my soul will never heal .. NEVER. :(

I got to see him years ago when he played Atlanta. I cant remember the song
he was playing but at one point .
He laid the guitar down on the stage floor.

He walked over to a white sofa that was placed behind him a few feet and he sat down looking at his watch. Meanwhile the guitar on the floor was still playing.. by itself.. VIBRATING for like three minutes.

My husband and I were at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta to see the Irish group "Celtic Woman" and at one point
the ladies lined up and sung "Danny Boy" in memory of PRINCE. Outside this ornate building was a tribute to
Prince who played that theatre a week before.! We have buildings here with purple lights in memory of him.
I feel my soul has been ripped out of my body and bleeding.
