I heard about this a few hours ago. "The Rock and Roll Animal" is gone. I heard on the news..he died from a
complication after a Liver Transpant..same thing that took Rory from us.. :( :( :(
Well Lou..I guess you can have all the 'Sweet Jane" you want now..rest in Peace.

I was only reading an article on Lou Reed the other day. RIP and thank you for your amazing contribution to rock music with Velvet Underground and your own solo career. I liked the fact you wanted to bring "novels into rock" and loved poetry.

This will always be my favourite iconic song of Lou Reed:- JUST A PERFECT DAY. Right now i treasure the beauty of life and see it in away I never seen it before in my life every second, minute, hour and day.

Lou Reed's widow, Laurie Anderson, was quoted in an article about Lou's last days. It's really quite beautiful, and not something we usually think of when we picture Lou Reed-
