Postby Rick K » 23 Nov 2011, 14:38

I`d like to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all my American fellow Rory enthusiasts !
I`m goin` away for a few days to visit family for the holiday.............
AND to get to a vinyl store on Friday for RECORD STORE DAY:

Then it`s off to hunting camp for 8 to 10 days....or until I fill the freezer.

happy thanksgiving to all US rory fans
I watched as fear took the old men's gaze
Hopes of the young in troubled graves
'I see no day' I heard him say
So grey is the face of every mortal

AT LEAST we had a GREAT THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER together before the bottom fell out................
And me and my wife got hit in my truck by a drunk driver..............
AND my one brother got his car sideswiped by another drunk driver..............
AND same brother got his dog ran over and killed in front of his house...............
AND one of my other brothers had to be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery on a hip that had been replaced a few weeks before(for the 4th time in 45 years)(the other hip has been replaced twice), because of terrible infection. We were told yesterday that it IS NOT STAPH INFECTION................
BUT.......today they say IT IS STAPH INFECTION.

He had 15 years of life........then Leukemia........then 30 years of hills and valleys........and now this.........

No hunting camp this year, because I am taking care of his affairs while he`s in the hospital, and my 80+ year old parents affairs while they are at the hospital with him.

Nothin` wakes one up like a slap in the face, R.K.
