roger was a bit overshadowed by freddie's voice (who wouldn't be?) but the man has got great pipes, check out this killer version of rock and roll. it's from '98 so roger wasn't in his prime then but he nails it. just watch it and comment it please. robert plant who?

he was the first queen member to have a solo single and album. many people think that freddie was first but actually brian also released an album with eddie van halen back in '83 and freddie's first solo album was from '85.
here is first part of one of the songs that brian and eddie van halen did together, it may surprise you that it's very bluesy even though they aren't known for their blues stuff (don't know about eddie but brian has very few bluesy songs) so i hope you guys and gals will like it. it's dedicated to eric clapton

@ innuendo Thank you for the valuable information, hm very interesting song, as you know I'm not fan EVH, but I like this bluesy touch in this particular song ;)

i'm very happy that you found it interesting. i also don't like van halen (band and guitarist) but i like this album he has done with brian and they didn't do rockier stuff which would suit them more (i mean brian can also do great pop songs and very heavy ones but i just look at van halen as another pop guitarist, he really doesn't do anything for me), they rather put their blues mode on-something they both are not very familiar with and i think they sound great together. that project was brian's baby.
