Eric Victor Burdon (born 11 May 1941) is best known as a founding member and vocalist of The Animals, a rock band formed in Newcastle, England, and the funk rock band War[1] and his aggressive stage performance. He was ranked 57th in Rolling Stone's list - The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time

Today, Eric is celebrating seventy years of life, I wish him all the best and some still make many, many albums, and let it be for a long time with us

Happy birthday to ERIC BURDON, the legendary
lead singer of The Animals. In contrast to most
British Invasion bands, The Animals had a heavy
blues bent. Their cover of Leadbelly's "House of
the Rising Sun" became a classic in its own right. ;) ;) ;) ;)

Eric is still touring.
We're going to see him headline a blues festival on Saturday as Eric Burdon and the Animals. Not sure how many original Animals will be there
