VOX AC.30

Well, that song she's humming, could make my guitar start strumming?

I have just read the fascinating book about Brian Mays homemade "Red Special". An amazing story!
In the book he gives credit to "the Bluesman Rory Gallaher, who, by introducing Brian to the tonal wonders of AC.30, inadvertidly spawned a legend"

He talks about Rory and the AC30 in an interview with Rick Wakeman. Starts at 36minutes. Lasts for about 5 minutes.

Brian May has a very characteristic sound.
In this video he explains his equipment in a very clear way. Many times I have asked why guitarist use several amps, but perhaps he gives me the answer. He always uses three AC.30, and with a slight delay which gives an impression that he is playing on several guitars simultaneously. And there's a lot of more technical explanations in this fine video. And his home-made guitar Red Special seems to have been a more complicated thing compared with most other guitars.
On the excellent DVD Live at Wembely 1986 he actually has nine VOX AC.30s. So this seems to be good stuff.

How I would like to have seen a similar video by Rory explaining the technical stuff.
