Great cover TT, I was worried for you after the first bar, but then you did a super version, which im gonna rob loads of bits.

The other guys version is the one i learned it from because there is a clear view of the fretboard and what he is playing. It was my first time to try slide and get it to sound good, now that i have the basic structure i can add in the flourishes and change chords.

Thanks mac
I know I f*****d a few bits up - one day eh?
If I could work out how to position a phone camera properly each take, that would help with the jitters a bit, and the frets views etc.

Thanks JimLed,
you might note that its played in double droped D ( DADGBD ) as opposed to the official tab book which has it in DADGAD.
The one above sounds 100% correct to me

Hi mac, you're welcome!

Great cover! Last night I didn't able to listen it, now have a space in time.
Yes, it's sounds good in DADGBD, sure! Correctly.

What do you think, have Rory any plans to have a solo part in this song?

Do you mean like he does in ' im not awake yet '.
I think if he wanted a solo he could easily have put one in by following the melody, but decided not to.....its perfect just the way it is !
