would probs say the Red Special is the most iconic, because it takes the strat (arguably the most influential guitar) and goes one better with bits Leo couldn'tve put in , although Rory's strat and the red special are on par in my mind, I think Wilko Johnson's Black Tele is pretty Iconic on the pub scene and agreeing with all of the above and Djangos Maccaferri, Les Paul's Les Paul Recording, Angus and his SGs and there's quite a few more, but I'd say the Red Special simply because it does everything and was made of "crap" and it gets that sound somehow.

The Wayne Kramer/MC5 pic was very timely for me. Not only do I hail from the Motor City I just bought one of the Kramer Fender Strat reproductions. Slamming tone with that humbucker in the middle position of a hard tail!

I usually use the ring and little fingers for bottleneck, it depends on the bottleneck itself and what kind of music i'm playing.
