I refer you gentlemen to the post I made some time ago. A guitar burned by HENDRIX and used by ZAPPA on 'zoot allures' is similar in iconographic terms to Rory's strat. And some way ahead of Brian May's guitar :roll: .
So revered was it, that Zappa used to mount it on stage for the audience to look at rather than play it.

Right you are, i apologize for not commenting on it...

But is that the real guitar or a copy c'ause the pickguard doesn't look right...?

The (a) real burnt Hendrix guitar, but various mods courtesy of Dweezil and Frank - both tried to get it to work properly in several forms - complicated history too.
And is that a bo diddley guit?

A complicated story that i will investigate right now, nothing like a complicated story about guitars....

It is indeed a Bo Diddley guitar...

A few years ago Bo Diddley collapsed on stage and was rushed to the hospital. When he woke up the first thing he said was: -'Where's my guitar?' and '-Did we get payed?'
