A Roddie McRae has uploaded on Youtube an unseen (till now) video clip of Taste live at a 1970 Blues and Rock festival in Inverness. But, its a silent 8mm clip, alas, no sound. But its cool to see any clips of Taste. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRn2D-F ... L&index=35

Nice to see Rory and Taste, but it's too bad there is no sound. :)

It is silent but still in very good quality vision. Rory and Taste are still poetry in motion and after we've seen now TASTE Live @ The IOW DVD..
We can put the sounds into those film clips :) Think the one bit with Rory stomping is start of Morning Sun or Sinner Boy maybe??
Thanks a million Capo for finding these rare Rory ~ Taste-ful gems :)

Thank you for sharing this brilliant! Yes, this is 8mm. No audio. I'd love to edit video with original sound, but I haven't this gig in collection.

WOW! How we have advanced!!!

I'm sure Roddie put in a lot of work with this - filming and editing the clip........
My brother had a 8mm camera back then and well, we did not do much at all with it.

Today anyone and everyone can do 100 times better with a phone and have it posted online and viewed hundreds of times before the show is halfway over!

Oh how I wish he was still here today so we could video/photo him to the max!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice clip. Thanks for sharing. Its true Jay Jay after seeing the Isle of Wight DVD, I can almost imagine what Taste could be playing. Cine footage was popular in the 70s I believe?? I think in the 90s it was the camcorder and today we have our iphones.
I agree with you Sid_sidow with today's technology we would have awesome footage and pictures of Rory and his band playing. I wonder how would he feel about Twitter, Instagram,You Tube Spotify,Facebook, selfies etc. Brian May loves his selfie stick!
My dad still has problems using his touch phone. It's like teaching a kid. Well they taught me how to use a spoon.
BTW I was saying. Its nice to have these Rory gems turn up. Maybe more of his fans have cine footage stored in their lofts. You never know! ;)

I didn´t know about that festival. The only other band I know on there is Atomic Rooster, but in 1970 I was only 9 after all. Thanks for the info Suby. I´m not surprised Taste were flown in by helicopter. Can you imagine what the road to Inverness must have been like then?

Finally got to see the Taste footage. I was having trouble with You Tube for a while. Oh my... Rory is so beautiful in 1970 :) I´d love to hear the music.
