Just bought the latest Guitarist magazine (Oct 2016 - issue 412) and the session guitarist Adam Goldsmith is in it with his Rory Strat. I think this the same guy as Tonight at the London Palladium. He is talking about which guitars he uses for live work, to cover all situations. He has always owned a Gibson 335. He's what he says.

"I have a regular gig in the form of the house orchestra for the Royal Variety Performance, where space is tight, and the other guitar apart from my 335 that I'll be taking this year is my Rory Gallagher Strat, which I've modded with Sperzel locking tuners, two Bare Knuckle Irish Tour pickups and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge."

The article has a photo of his 2 guitars. The Rory strat looks weird with the Seymour Duncan and a whammy bar (tremolo arm).
