On contemplating the fragility of life, how it can turn on a dime, and coincidentally this old interview of Rory crossed my social media pages. Most of you have undoubtedly seen it. It was one of the last interviews Rory did. It's a bittersweet interview, Rory plays "It's Alright Mama," and beautifully. Then he goes on to speak of what he wants to do with the time he has left. I've watched this interview many times, but yesterday, that one statement caught my attention. Take note of Rory's wish for the future at 02:44

Indeed! Donal also put together and released the acoustic album which Rory had wanted released. All in all, like Rory once said near the end of his life, "Donal has been a Godsend" to him. The whole family has treated Rory's legacy with taste and class.
