In my opinion the best DVD, both regarding performance, and, most of all - the sound quality, is the 1982 Loreley Rockpalatz Concert.

Sorry Tom but I disagree as for the sound quality that is ..
Rory Gallagher Live @ Montreux DVD is far better IMO. Especially the 1977 and 1985 shows ;)
The Rockpalast 1982 Loreley Concert was an outdoor gig. Where at that time it was difficult for the sound engineers to get a good balance to the sound.

I can agree that the DVDs from Montreaux 1977 and 1985 are good.
The question is - are there more videorecordings hidden somewhere, which could be released in the future?

Every so often something will show up on YouTube- something newly rediscovered, like that peculiar video of Taste doing "I'll Remember," while a sniper fires at random passers-by. I'm always checking the net for new findings, most likely I'm not the only one. A treasure hunt of sorts. I guess not all the Rory fans know about his website here, otherwise I suppose they'd post them here as well.
