Meeting With The G-Man +

Was this an official recording,i have always thought the recording to be of a lower standard than Rory's other recordings .as if it was recorded from
somewhere in the audience from a portable source ,some of the tracks seem to go from one channel to the other, it may be that i don't know the band .
Don't get me wrong it is a good raw live album not out of place in any Rory collection, i have two copies ,one stand alone and the other part of the
Let's Go To Work boxset which i like to keep as masters rarely playing it.

It was a bootleg

The + edition has a few extra tracks and is remastered to minimise the audience noise.

Rory admired Frank Zappa and like Frank he got his hands on some popular bootlegs and "officially" released them to the public. Rorys editions were called "The Gman" series. THe "Meeting"" cd was volume 4.

Frank's bootlegs are called "Beat the Boots".
