Cheers! Newb to the forum, but not Rory.
I am a vinyl collector and just recently picked up this album. It is, Taste- The Best of Taste: Taste Anthology gatefold double LP w/ green vinyl. I gave $60 for it, but can find nothing about it on the net. I have searched here, too. Does anyone here have any info on availability, value, etc.
It was pressed by Rock Machine Records UK 1988
I have seen the black vinyl set, but not colored. Per Wikipedia, Polydor made a pressing in 1994. ?? Thanks to all!! 8-)

Hello Woodbilly and welcome to Loose Talk!

Nice color set! I saw this release before, but I don't sure it was realised officialy. Maybe this is a work of Taste' ex. manager?

Thanks for the reply, Jim.
I have seen same album with black vinyl on eBay for $70, but like stated, I have never seen colored vinyl. I do have "The Beat Club Sessions" in grey vinyl also, but is is readily available online. I have also noticed that Polydor and other UK pressing issued albums seem to fetch a good price, all around.
Many I talk to dont even know who Rory Gallagher is, but those who do, seem to be willing to pay more than average for his albums. Is the high price due to low pressing #'s or just rarity of Rory vinyl?
I will never sell any of the several Rory albums I currently own, but was just looking for input on value/ rarity.

Thanks again!!!

Here's a site that has it listed, but out of stock.

Cool. I guess it appears every now and then. I may have gave too much for it, but I dont care, as I am not in the market to profit or sell.

I edited my first post. My British pounds to US dollar amount was off. lol Actual cost was $60. (40£)
Thanks for the replies and link to album site. Rock on!!!
