Good one Milka, thats a young maria doyle kennedy doing the interview....she went on to be in the movie the commitments and front a band with her husband called the black velvet band....great singer.

Wow, that's a wonderful interview, thanks so much for posting it!!! It gives a great glimpse of what a humble and knowledgeable person Rory was. What a great example as a person and as an artist.

Annoying interviewer but Rory is courteous and humble as usual. It is always a joy listening to what Rory has to say.

funny thing is i would have never said that this interview is from '75. rory looks like it's '84

yeah, that was my first thought, too !

And at last a clip where one can see his blue eyes properly ;)
Although they appear kind of blue-grey here...

i watched rory's gig from belfast today and the year of that show was 1984. i could swear he looks exactly like in that interview
